The Municipal Court of the City of Rolla is a subdivision of the25th Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Missouri, and acts as the Court of original jurisdiction in all cases involving violations against the ordinances of the City, as set forth in the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, Chapter 479. The positions of Municipal Judge and Prosecuting Attorney are elected positions, and they, along with the appointed support staff, are paid as employees of the City.

Municipal Court Sessions are held on the following days of each month:

  • Tuesday night court begins at 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday day court begins at 9:30 a.m.
  • All court sessions are held in the Rolla City Council Chambers, located in City Hall at 901 North Elm Street. Yes, if we have evening court scheduled then our office will be open past the normal closing time of 4:30 p.m.; open until court is finished for that evening.

Court Information:

Fines & Payments Accepted at Court Offices

All payments for court-related issues, including fines for traffic offenses, are payable at the Court offices located on the 2nd Floor in City Hall, 901 North Elm Street.

Payment methods accepted at the Court office are as follows: cash, check, or money order.  Missouri Case.net is available for online electronic payments, if your case is one that may be paid prior to the court appearance date, or you are on a payment plan.

time.  The Court encourages you to at least consult with a lawyer if you have any questions or concerns on                                                                    how the charge(s) may affect you, your driver's license, insurance, etc.  You are not required to have a lawyer                                                              represent you. You are able to represent yourself.
